Some members expressed an interest in flying tomorrow if conditions allowed.
The weather report does not look great with wind predicted to be in the high 20s (kph).
However if it appears to be OK in the morning I may open up about 10.30. I will update this thread in the morning.

The conditions today (Saturday) were quite variable, with strong gusts at times but with calmer conditions in between. However it was reasonably flyable.
Tomorrow (Sunday) is forecast to be windier, so it is difficult to know how the day will turn out. About all we can do is go to the field and give it a chance.

Where's the wind gone?
Looks like it may be worth a try. I will attempt to get to the Common about 9.00 or a bit after. But don't be surprised if the wind returns as soon as anyone sets up to fly.

Well, I think I've finally caved in. I'm going to try my hand at a special kind of control line. A kite. Looks like it'll be to only thing flying this week, so who else is with me?

Not too sure about the weather tomorrow. All we can do is charge our gear and hope for the best. If Graham is not there, I will open up about 9.00 unless the wind is extreme. The field has been mown and is in good condition. There will be no glider day this month.

Hutch has asked if we can start earlier Sunday than I had originally proposed so I will try to get to the field at or near 9.00.

As with last Sunday, it is still difficult to determine what conditions will be like tomorrow.
If it looks flyable I will open up about 10.30.
According to the weather reports Monday may be the calmest day. If I get some expressions of interest I may also consider opening then as well for a couple of hours. Reply to this thread if interested.
