Flying with a companion - aotoole - 21-06-2017

There has been much discussion lately about the club rule which states that no member must fly solo, but should be accompanied by another responsible member. I suspect that in some cases this rule is not fully understood.

The second member is not just on hand in case of an accident, neither is he/she their to watch a friend fly. The second member's responsibility is to keep watch for stray spectators, dogs, children etc. who may wander into the pilot's area or even onto the strip.

OK members that ends safety lesson for today. Big Grin Cool Dodgy Angel Wink Allen O'Toole
